There are three planes within Cisco SD-Access, the control plane, data plane, and policy plane.
Control Plane – Baed on Locator/ID Seperation Protocol
Data Plane – Based on Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN)
Policy Plane – Based on Cisco TrustSec
